'LOSS OF TRUST
‘Those who believe this lose trust in their own capability and thus surrender thinking and decision-making to others’ So observed Suzanne Humphries, MD and Roman Bystrianyk, in their book Dissolving Illusions. They continued by saying, ‘Doctors are no exception to this phenomenon. Medical practitioners cede their independent thinking to texts, advisory panels and traditions, which vary depending on political influences of the times. In medical school doctors are taught to view the human body as a random mistake-ridden vessel that has to be forced into submission with surgery, antibiotics, antihypertensives, antihistamines, anti-inflammatories and other medical interventions. The natural extension of this paradigm over the last 100 years has been for the medical profession to condition human beings not to trust anyone but certified medical doctors to fix these defective aberrations of creation. FEAR AND PANIC TAKE A GRIP Journalist and essayist Henry Louis Mencken (1880-1956) remarked ‘the one permanent emotion of the inferior man is fear, fear of the unknown, the complex, the inexplicable. What he wants above everything else is safety.' These words ring very true when one considers what happened when the Covid pandemic struck. Despite the fact that extensive plans had been made by international health authorities way back in 2008 on what action to take in the event of a pandemic, which they anticipated might happen in the near future, when the pandemic did suddenly arrive there was fear and panic worldwide and the carefully drawn up plans were thrown out of the window. As we all know, drastic measures were installed immediately. No logic was applied to the situation and instead of limiting confinement and protection to just the elderly and those most vulnerable, the entire population including the healthy were locked down. Any suggestion of allowing healthy people to take sensible precautions but carry on with their lives and build up a natural resistance to the infection, as we have always done during flu and other epidemics in the past, was considered out of the question. WHY HAVE WE LOST FAITH IN OUR IMMUNE SYSTEMS ? It is worth remembering that we who are alive today are the descendants of survivors of the Spanish Flu Pandemic in 1918 when between 30 and 50 million people died worldwide. There were no vaccines against the disease available at that time so only people with robust immune systems survived. Almost exactly two years later, in the late spring of 1920, the virus had weakened, as viruses often do and the pandemic was declared to be over. Since then, we seem to have completely lost confidence in the natural, powerful immune system that has protected us over thousands of years and prefer to rely on man-made vaccines, even experimental vaccines. This presents a problem because, as has recently been shown, vaccine protection may not last as long as it was hoped and very soon we shall find ourselves on a treadmill of booster vaccinations to maintain that presumed protection. 
NATURAL IMMUNITY: HOW IT WORKS
How natural immunity works is explained by paediatrician Dr Lawrence Palevsky.. “There is a significant difference between natural immunity and vaccination immunity. When children are born, they develop natural immunity to hundreds, thousands, millions, and even trillions of micro-organisms that they breathe in, eat, and touch through their skin. Their immune systems at the lining of their airways, at the lining of their intestines, and on their skin are actively protecting their body from the outside world. Those immune systems that are intricately and specifically located in the linings are very important to create memory and protection to the organisms that they continue to breathe, eat, and touch. That immune system response then has a domino effect on creating other memory and immune responses that give your body antibodies and protection. That’s a very important step for how the immune system matures in our children." . |
MANDATORY MASK WEARING With this knowledge, the question of masks presents a vexed problem when children are forced to wear them in school. As Dr Palevsky pointed out, this action goes totally against what would normally happen in nature. Covering the face with a mask is not only a most unnatural thing to do but in fact can actually be harmful. Judy Mikovits, Ph.D. a virologist and molecular biologist, is quoted as saying “Wearing a mask is going to cause more secretions and give more cells a home and amplify any viruses. [Wearing a mask is] immune suppressive; it's going to limit your body’s ability to produce Type 1 interferon." Researchers from the University of Antwerp, Belgium, analyzed the microbial community on surgical and cotton face masks from 13 healthy volunteers after being worn for four hours. Bacteria including Bacillus, Staphylococcus and Acinetobacter were found — 43% of which were antibiotic-resistant. RISK OF INFECTION FROM MASKS For school children, having to wear these germ laden masks on their faces for hours on end puts them at real risk of infection. There is neither science nor logic in this practice. All too often these regulations are made by Health Ministers with no scientific background but who just enjoy the power bestowed on them, as was the case with the ex UK health minister Matt Hancock. Financial gains are also often involved when contracts are given to personal contacts. Professor Michael Braungart, director at the Hamburg Environmental Institute, conducted tests on masks which had caused people to break out in rashes. He said 'What we are breathing through our mouth and nose is actually hazardous waste,' Masks were found to contain formaldehyde and other chemicals such as aniline, a known carcinogen. ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE Masks can also cause havoc for the environment and are of greater concern than bulk plastics such as plastic bags. Environmental Toxicologists Elvis Genbo Xu and Zhiyong Jason Ren found that if not disposed of for recycling, like other plastic wastes, disposable masks can end up in freshwater systems, and oceans, where weathering can generate a large number of micro-sized particles in just a few weeks and fragment further into nanoplastics, thereby adding a new source of nanoplastic pollution. Like other plastic debris, disposable masks may also accumulate and release harmful chemical and biological substances such as bisphenol A, heavy metals, as well as pathogenic micro-organisms. These may cause indirect adverse impacts on plants, animals and humans. It is not known how masks contribute to the large number of plastic particles detected in the environment – simply because no data on mask degradation in nature exists. One suggestion would be to set up mask only rubbish bins for collection and disposal or consider the development of biodegradable disposal masks. Isn't it time to apply logic to some of the practices forced upon us by governments as a result of the pandemic before even more damage is done to ourselves and the environment?
